National & Local Transport:

• C.I. Almaviva handles all kinds of merchandis within the Colombian territory.
  
  
• Strategic alliances with main trucking companies, authorized by the Ministry of Transportation, guarantee availability and fulfillment of time.
  
  
• Almaviva coordinates all processes involved into the local trucking eliminating need of contracting additional services. We also offer complete Door-Door Service.

Foreign Trade

Imports

• Almaviva coordinates all proceedings related to the import process of the merchandis that enters into Colombian territory.
  
  
• Almaviva acts as a Customs Clearance Broker, representing different companies before the DIAN (National Department of Taxes and Customs Tariffs) in their foreign trade operation.
  
  
• Almaviva has DIAN authorized Customs Warehouses in the main ports of entry and Free Zones of the country.

  
  
  Exports

• Almaviva advises, coordinates, and deals with departure of merchandises from customs areas in Colombia to other counries or free zones. Almaviva advises, coordinates and deals with DIAN authorized customs areas, to highly exporting companies (ALTEX).
  
  
• Almaviva deals with and controls the ordinary exports and re-exportation processes.
  
  
• Almaviva offers services of outsourcing in foreign trade processes in both, Almaviva´s and customer’s locations (in house).
  
  
• Almaviva has a BASC Certification endorsed by U.S.A. customs authorities.

Warehousing

• Almaviva guards and preserves your merchandise in its own warehouses.
  
  
• Almaviva’s warehousing system offers diverse selection of storage depending on types of merchandise (racks, yards, sheds, etc..)
  
  
• The 190.000 square meters in warehousing areas around the country allows adequate storage for all kinds of merchandis.
  
  
• Merchandis is protected by modern safety and security systems.
  
  
• Available infrastructure allows storage of different types of merchandis.
  
  
• Depending on client needs, exclusive areas can be arranged.
  
  
• Personnel trained by Almaviva are available for administration of third parties warehouses (Outsourcing).
  

“Free Zone”: Almaviva guards and keeps merchandises in Free Zones, which presents customers with several possibilities and benefits with regard to customs, foreign money exchange, foreign trade, fiscal and commercial benefits.


“Customs warehousing zones”:Store merchandis in DIAN authorized zones as public customs warehouses.


“Silos”: Almaviva provides services for storing, cleaning and drying grains.


“Pharmaceutical products Storage”:Almaviva has especially design warehouses setup to store and handle pharmaceutical products.


“Refrigerated Rooms”: Refrigerated Rooms are available for storage of merchandises that need temperature control
for their preservation.


Picking, Packing and Distribution

Almaviva uses electronic data interchange sytems (EDI) to receive orders from clients, to generate processes for assembling and repacking, to generate documents and to print invoices, and to take care of final delivery of merchandise.


Financial Services

• Almaviva may provide financial services as a General Deposit Store and through the Bogota Bank.
  
  
• Almaviva is part of Aval Financial Group and therefore authorized to offer different financial services through the Bogota Bank.
