Founded in 1871 by Carl Heinrich Hellmann in Osnabruck, Northern Germany, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics started as a one-man business delivering parcels with a horse-drawn cart.In 1981 Hellmann opened the first office overseas in Hong Kong. Today the global logistics network operates from 341 cities in 134 countries and employs in excess 15,000 dedicated people to serve our customers wordwide. Until 1999 the Hellmann Network had been represented in Brazil by TTI - Transpacific Transitàrio Internacional Ltda.. During the same year, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics took over the shares of TTI and founded Hellmann do Brasil Ltda. Using the guiding priciple »Thinking ahead - moving forward « our fully trained and dedicated professionals guarantee the quality of our services. These services range from all possible standard transport services to complete logistic services. Our own customs clearance department coordinates sea and air shipments to be cleared through customs at all major Brazilian ports and airports including delivery to final destinations all over Brasil. HWL do Brasil employs 48 professionals at the head-office in Sao Paulo and at our branches in Guarulhos, Campinas-Viracopos, Santos and Petropolis-Rio de Janeiro. Exclusive agents represent Manaus HWL do Brasil at all other industrial and commercial centers of Brazil, such as Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, and Fortaleza. |
